Visit Bluff’s Historic District and tour the renovated Old Bluff Fort and see how the original settlers of Bluff lived. Bluff is home of the International Balloon Festival held every January, world-famous Twin Rocks Trading Post and Cafe and historic St. Christopher’s Mission. West of Blanding you’ll find Natural Bridges National Monument, Lake Powell National Recreation Area, Elk Ridge, Cottonwood Wash, Butler Wash Ruins and a number of scenic trails and sites.
East of Blanding is Hovenweep National Monument, Montezuma Canyon, Recapture Canyon and even more scenic wonders. Mesa Verde National Park,located near Cortez, Colorado, is only about 2 hours east of Blanding.
